Finally got a new feature done after slacking (not building) for a while. It took 3 workdays to build the ladder drop. Where it was built, there used to be a 2x8 leading up to the rock drop a couple of years ago. It was super sketchy, partly because of the loose 2x8, and partly because the dirt landing was built way to close to the rock. It looked far more likely that you would miss the dirt landing entirely. The new wooden landing extends quite a ways from the rock since you can carry lots of speed into it. Props to my friend from Seattle who showed on Saturday to help. If she hadn't shown up I would have been all by my lonesome. More work to come this year...
