Is the Entrance from Des Moines Beach Open

Looking to go ride Seatac XC trails and used to start from Des Moines Beach Park near Cliff St. and Nebo until they started to lock the gate on the path. Anyone know if this gate is opened again?

No it is closed. i really don't know why either, my assumption is it has something to do with the construction of the jail. The access road has been fenced off on both sides effectively chopping the remaining trails in half.
